EnSpec is a research facility that focuses on the development and application of methods for the measurement and characterization of ecosystem structure, chemistry and physiology. We use remote sensing and spectroscopy to understand the biochemistry and physiology of vegetation. We use these results to help understand the functioning of vegetation as it relates to plant growth, nutrient cycling, water quality, and insect activity.
